My last spaghetti spoon was made of a hard plastic which wasn't bad until one of the 'teeth' broke off which didn't prevent it from doing its job but I felt it was time to get something new and less likely to break. I was trying to hold off on using this one until I remodeled my kitchen but I couldn't help myself when I was wanting spaghetti one night and now I have used it several times since. Each time I do use it I can't help but wonder why I didn't buy it sooner...

Nice and sturdy, not likely to get bent with normal use. I would have preferred a deeper ladle and a carving fork, but until someone comes up with a good build your own set this one covers most of the bases.
