diameter is correct; they are not deep enough to hold not much. should have been twice deeper to be useful.

This set of strainers is of pretty good quality. The mesh is a bit soft (it can get dented) however it is perfect if you want to do any baking.

These sifters work fine and don't get too clogged, but the smallest sifter doesn't nest inside the other two if you hang them from the hook.

Close mesh. Easy to use. Only complaint is I find close mesh to wash. But I live these!
