What is there to say about a rolling pin? It's smooth, doesn't have any rough edges, grooves or crevices so it's easy to clean as there is there is no chance of food particles getting stuck anywhere. It's a little light, so you have to use more pressure when rolling something out with it compared to a big old fashioned wood rotating rolling pin with the handles but it's not a big deal for most tasks. The rainbow finish is pretty nice, definitely more interesting than your standard rolling pins. It doesn't seem to scratch off easily, and also seems totally unaffected by washing. The slightly tapered shape make it comfortable to handle, and it's more than long enough. So while it would have been a bit nicer if it was solid so it would have a bit more heft to it for our preference, that's pretty much the only thing that could stand changing.

Nice lightweight rolling pin. The color isn't as pink/rose gold as in the pic. Looks more of a light champagne. I'm trying to have the same color scheme for my baking supplies. But overall it will fit in.

Without the handles I had to put a lot of weight on it to get it to roll out thawed bread dough. Ideal for rolling pie crusts though. Will stick unless you use lots of flour or chill it (helps a lot). It really is a beautiful pin. I love the look of it.

My daughters were diagnosed with Celiac and I had to get rid of all my kitchen cookware. I hadn't replaced my rolling pin, which makes baking a bit of a chore, so I decided to give this a try. I've used wood and silicone pins but never a stainless steel one.The first thing I noticed is how lightweight this is. It really doesn't have the heft of any pin I've used in the past. This means that I have to use more muscle when rolling heavier dough. I don't notice it with lighter things (like crust). The sides are smooth and it rolls easily with a flat hand. The length is ideal. The color (I got the rainbow one) is amazing and I have gotten several compliments from guests.Unfortunately, my pin had a spot on one end where it looks like it got hit with something metal -- a dent. As long as I am careful with how I roll it doesn't impact my dough, but if I have to roll the edge across it will leave a stuttering mark where it goes. Boo. I also find that it sticks a bit more than my wood and silicone coated pins. I have found I need to use more flour or to chill the pin.The box did not say how to care for it so I have been hand washing.Made in China
