Loved these utensils and would have easily given them a 5 if they lasted longer. But the gold is disappearing and they are becoming just regular silver.

If you’re buying this for yourself, go for it! But I bought this specifically as a wedding gift, and once I saw the packaging, I realized I could never give this as a wedding gift. I was expecting like the boxes of flatware that actually feature the at least one of each product, but this was just like super efficient packaging, which I don’t blame, and usually appreciate.Just not like a cute wedding gift.Found super nice packaged gold flatware somewhere else. But going to enjoy these for myself!

I am most impressed about how exceptionally well this flatware has remained despite the countless meals & dishwasher cycles.**The color doesn't fade, the shine doesn't dim & each utensil does not bend easy with pressure.Simply outstanding product that compliments our marble-skinned plates, bowls & mugs.I would highly recommend!***Remember in to include a rinse aid in your dishwasher cycle -- & if you're like me & you like an extra shine, dedicate a microfiber cloth to clean flatware only & wipe the utensils down rubbing alcohol!

I was really excited for them to come, they are really cute I had them for a week now and I have been using them and also the gold is still on it I recommend.

Took a chance based on reviews stating that there were scratches right out of the box and unfortunately it was true. Giving three stars though because it seems to be mainly just the butter knives that are affected.

I bought this set to go with my gold rimmed china and they really did make the table setting look more elegant. They are very pretty, not too sure if they will stay that way over the years, but you get what you pay for. There are two drawbacks as far as I'm concerned, they are very light weight and the tines on the forks are rather sharp and scratch the other pieces. I plan to use them only on holidays and special occasions so they will work for me and I can't see spending twice as much for something that will only be used half a dozen times a year. I would recommend they be hand washed only, the same for anything with gold on it, most dishwasher detergents will take the gold off in just a few washings.

So far so good. When I purchased I didn’t see the seller had a larger quantity which is a better deal than this one. I wish I ordered that instead. But it’s good that I’ll get to test the quality first. They came wrapped well. I don’t put them in the dishwasher because of the other reviews so I’ve been handwashing and drying. Will update after more use.

This silverware is beautiful. I love that each piece came individually wrapped so nothing is chipped or damaged. I cannot wait to have a dinner party with these.
