I got the gold handles and they are bright and decorative. I do see one tiny flaw in the paint when I hold it up to the light. Since it is in the same place on both pieces, I guess it is a result of the manufacturing process.

some of the items are not heat resistant so do not use it over the stove however overall it is wonderful!

I have to say is the measuring cups and spoons are thin, and don't stand up to the quality of the rest of the set but I'm not mad about it.
