I bought two of these, for home and work, for instant coffee, tea, etc. It's made out of a hard plastic with a polished finish inside the cup that doesn't scratch easily. No plastic taste.

I got this for my toddler and it's great. super durable super easy to clean and just what we were looking for so that he doesn't use any of the ceramic mugs

Being that she can only bear so much weight in her hand, this small, lightweight cup gives her the freedom to enjoy her coffee each day without much fear of it slipping, dropping, and/or breaking. So far it has held up to a few, let's say... unintentional crash tests, mostly at the hands of our toddler.

Like everyone says, the handle doesn't get hot. The thing I like best though is that it's a perfect weight to throw at the kids or the dog if they're misbehaving, but it won't really hurt them that bad.
