The plates were very lightweight indeed.I bought these because they're eco friendly and won't shatter when dropped.

I think these were good starter plates.Our favorite plate that go along with the same cereal and soup bowls. A must have for RV life.

I love these plates. You can microwave in them or put in the dishwasher. Smaller portion size great for lunch servings or children's sized meals.
