Nicely made well waited at the bottom. The design fits nicely in your hand if you want to use it that way too.

This is my second one. I use one in the kitchen to grind up pet meds and the second went to the model studio to grind “ weathering” chalk for working on my model buildings.

Better than the granite one I had recently which chipped at the edges and could have ended up in my dog’s food dish. Stainless steel construction eliminates that problem.

This mortar and pestle set is incredible. Very high quality and has a lot of weight to it. The bottom has a thin padding to keep it from sliding or scratching your counter, increasing its stability. It is very versatile and perfect for anyone needing to crush pills or herbs. As I stated, both the mortal and pestle feel heavy in your hand and help with the crushing process. Excellent, high quality product.

I bought this to grind pills up for my dog. It works extremely well for that. There are cheaper options available that do multiple things cut, store, as well as grind. But this is heavy duty and built to last, and would work to chop or grind any foods or spices.

Perfect for intended use. It is pretty heavy and the non-slip base is great. I don't have to worry about dropping this one like I would with a stone Mortar.

I love that it’s stainless steel so it doesn’t have any odor after using it. It’s very easy cleanup and a perfect little size to crush up garlic ginger or spices.

EXCELLENT product. very HEAVY plus a rubber bottom, so it won't slip off the counter, Stainless Steel - so I can put it in the dishwasher, three times the size of my last one...which was porcelain, fell off the counter and smashed to pieces. And I also like the rounded head on the mortar and that it even has a plastic cover, if needed.

Great kitchen tool! It's been used to grind up spices, herbs and some pills so far and has worked great. Easy to clean and the lid makes it easy to securely store the pestle without losing or dropping.

I'd give it 6 stars. This thing is thick, heavy and very solid. Took me 15 seconds to crush a large flea pill into a fine powder. I highly recommend it.

I've owned this item for 6 years and it looks as good as new. And I just started using the cover to grind biscuits. Works great and needs virtually no upkeep. Superior to a ceramic set I tried. You can't go wrong with this. I would do a commercial for this model.
