This set is gorgeous! We used it for a styled shoot and it photographed beautifully. We only had to clean a handful of the items - and used warm soap and water. I was afraid with the gold & wood ends to put it through the dishwasher. I would say these are not a good piece for everyday use; more for formal and special occasions.

A rich gold color. These are high quality. I hand wash them personally because I never trust god silverware in a dishwasher. They were an amazing addition to our Christmas party.
