I haven’t used them very regularly, but when I do I make sure to set the dishwasher to cold temps and the gold has stood up fine. Fork prongs show slight cheapness in slight imperfections, but only if you really look for it. Best deal and they look great.

I don't know what the other reviewers do with their flatware. I have had these about a month, use them every day. I only bought one set since the reviews were bad, so I have only had 4 spoons, forks, knifes for 2 people... so we obviously use and abuse them every day. I've machine washed and hand-washed them and they still look the same way I got them. I don't know how the color is coming off for some people. There were some scratches when i got them but nothing that glares at you and that I would be embarrassed of. In fact, I can't wait for a dinner party to show them off!!

I just received my black silverware. Although I've never used it yet, But I can for sure that they look and feel of great quality. The color is beautiful

Absolutely beautiful and super classy. I kept looking at the stems because they were so pretty and perfect. That little line in between the stem and base adds a perfect touch and the really are the perfect sizes

This flatware compliments my dinnerware. It would have been even better if it had a matching serving set to set it off.

This is a beautiful set! It is medium to almost light weight, but not in a cheap feeling in the hand kind of way. The edges are nice and smooth as opposed to some rough cut silverware that you would find in some cheaper restaurants. I haven’t owned the set for very long and only handwash all of my dishes. So far there is no sign of fade or wear. There can be some water spots if they air dry, but that doesn’t bother me, as I know they are clean and would come out the same if washed in a dishwasher (but may wear faster). If I really feel the pressure to have spotless flatware, I’ll guess I would hand dry them. While I have not had an issue, Berglander appears to stand behind its products. They included a quality guarantee certificate that looks and feels similar to a credit card, with an individual number on it. The silverware came in a rather small, relatively plain, slightly dated box compared to anything you would find in a store. I do not have an issue with the packaging whatsoever, but I had seen some reviews where people marked a product down one or more stars because the packaging basically wasn’t a display case. Whether the set is for yourself or a gift, don’t mark it down because of the packaging. No one but miserable people with nothing better to complain about will give a rip about the packaging in a very short amount of time. There is contact information stating to use it if there are any issues with quality. I am including pics of the set, the warranty certificate card, and the packaging. Overall, I am very happy with this set and would buy again.

They look so beautiful and delicate, I chose the golden set They look great, not cheap at all even though they are affordable! I did not find any scratch or stain on them. They look well made and fine. They are so shiny!! I love them. The spoons shape is fancy and They look great in my kitchen. I don' t use the dishwasher though to clean them.
They came fast and just as described. I am obssessed!!

I decided to get some gold silverware for the special dining occasions that happen a few times a year. The set looks wonderful, and the weight is perfect. it looks and feels more expensive than it is. It is just what I want. Highly recommended.
