Thought that I was making a sacrifice for the environment but I really enjoy these straws. I like really cold beverages and I like the feel of the cool metal. No worry about paint chipping off and microbes do not grow well on metal. Wish I could buy a set that was all 8.5 as the longer ones are too long for my use.

I ordered these before and one by one members of my family kept taking them to use. I actually don't use the brush to clean but just put them in the dishwasher and that does the job. The tall bendy one is my favorite and really the only size I use in my Zojirushi 20oz drink bottle.
