they are strong and as described. they get very cold if your drinking iced anything. they make great stir sticks if your having a mixed drink as well. the cleaners that come with them dont bend well so on the bent ones its harder but still worth having. we have two different brands and they are both the same when cleaning but they are fantastic!

I bought these straws because I am very conscious of the amount of waste I create and try to do my best to minimize it. I refused to buy a big pack of plastic straws just to throw them away and let them end up in a sea turtle's nose or something. I just got these but I can already tell I love them. I love that they give you multiple different sizes, and they also include two cleaning brushes which makes cleaning them a breeze. I also just put them in the dishwasher if I'm feeling lazy. Great straws for the environmentally conscious!

My family has recently joined the plastic straw boycott. We had the pleasure of learning about metal straws on a summer trip to Homer Alaska. Restaurants there use them and they happily reffered us to Amazon to purchase our own. Since then many of my friends have purchased their own sets and joined the boycott!
