I was surprised at the size of the serving utensils. (Not a gravy spoon, it is a soup ladle. Lol) The only things that aren't LARGE are the butter knife and the pie/cake server. They'll still serve the purpose I need though.

Although I'm not keeping these, I chose easy to clean based on other reviews. I think it's unfair to be asked to rate an item in every category if the product appears to be great, but not for oneself. The price was great, the cutlery looked great, although I only removed one of each from the protective sleeve and the stainless steel straws are a wonderful bonus.The reason I'm not keeping these is because of the way they feel in my hand. I have rheumatoid arthritis and tremors so I need something chunkier for me to hold onto. I'm not sure if I'm returning them or giving them as a Christmas gift. I've asked a few family members if they need cutlery but none have answered me yet.Please don't let the 3 stars in easy to hold box influence your decision about whether or not to purchase these. It was my personal experience only.I suppose I'll have to go back to thrift stores to buy flatware which I'm totally fine with usually, but I've gotten tired of mismatched cutlery. I bought a wonderful set in 1978 and still have a couple teaspoons and a few knives left. They were the best I've ever owned and the few pieces that haven't gotten lost over the decades are STILL unscratched and look like new. The company no longer is in business, thus my hunt for chunky, yet lightweight and affordable cutlery.If it weren't for RA, I'd keep these in a heartbeat. It's a simple yet classic design. I'd also be proud also to give these as a gift.

Had the product for quite some time. Sturdy and comes out clean and shiny from the dishwasher. I liked this set so much i purchased another one! Such excellence! When we eat, it makes the food taste better!Many of our friends have begged us to tell them where we acquired such fun, we of course told them! I really was pleasantly surprised with this flatware. I needed extra utensil for the holidays and now I think I will order more to match because this was a much nicer set than what I have and I paid a lot more for it. Very nice and durable. I will definitely be ordering more soon.
