Not dishwasher safe! I've had them for only two months and the gold is coming off. Otherwise very pretty though

tested with 3M lead tester from home depot, was negative for lead at least with that test. used for thanksgiving and not bad.

I really like this set, great quality for the money spent. The gold finish faded fairly quickly, some pieces are more faded than others, but they look more of a tarnished silver color than gold. I'd say about half the pieces are heavily affected and I have had this set 4 or 5 months now.

These are inexpensive gold toned silverware to add a touch of color and interest to your table. These are made in China and are a lighter weight product (as you can imagine with the price). They are packaged in a small cardboard box, individually wrapped to ensure that they are not scratched.I ended up returning them in favor of spending more for a heavier weight set. With the gold color (as I am finding with the sets no matter how much you spend) it is advised to hand wash.

I bought this set for my office. I was tired of buying plasticware. As an office set it is fine. I will tell you that some of the fork tongs are sharp. It's a blunt kind of sharp - I don't think you are going to cut yourself on this, but I think that you will notice this characteristic. This is not a standard set of silverware that one would want to use at one's home if you are an adult over the age of say... 27 or 28. It is a couple of steps above ( ok maybe 1.5 steps above) the cafeteria silverware in college - or at maybe Denny's. It does look a lot better than the cafeteria silverware from college because it is a cool gold color. It is cut in a manner that shows that it is - well - cheap. And hey - it is what it is. But it is a lot better than plasticware. And using this set saves money on plasticware, and prevents you from adding to the landfills. The gold tone is attractive, and it looks good. All in all I would definitely buy the set again for the purpose for which I use the silverware.

Love the style and good price for the quantity but if you want to make this everyday use cutlery, purchase something else. We've been using this cutlery for every day use and the gold is fading alot and we hand wash. Would probably be good for parties and special occasion use.

If you’re buying this for yourself, go for it! But I bought this specifically as a wedding gift, and once I saw the packaging, I realized I could never give this as a wedding gift. I was expecting like the boxes of flatware that actually feature the at least one of each product, but this was just like super efficient packaging, which I don’t blame, and usually appreciate.

These looked amazing but after two months the gold is coming off. I never put in dishwasher. Hand wash in dawn and Lukewarm water only.

I bought 2 sets and was shorted 4 dinner forks on one set. Really disappointing! The color is nice and they are easy to wash. I missed the return window as I didn’t need items right away. I am going to try and reach out to the supplier and see if they will send the balance of the dinner forks.

I put them on the dishwasher and guess what they came with rust ... not happy!

Bought this as a gift and thought the presentation would have been better it was not.

Very cute but not great quality. Some came with gold spots missing and you could see the material they are made out of underneath. I few have been ruined by sitting in the sink overnight and getting rust-looking spots.

I love the gold..however, they rust kind of easy.

Disappointed with the quality. Used flatware a couple times. Hand washed as instructed the color is starting to fade. Should have returned it.
