I just received it so I can't comment on its durability exactly, all I can say is it looks like the pictures, but I tried it once and I don't know how to use it properly.

New can openers may all need breaking in and the angles are a bit difficult, but once set up, it works great.

I have tried oh so many manual can openers which didn't work well.
