The size is perfect for soup. I have used this spoon on many occasions like family dinners or picnics. They still look like new after using them for a while. Easy to clean. I really like it.

These are great spoons, as described, you don't have to worry about the handle breaking since they're one piece, but they're not deep enough to scoop soup vertically

Perfect size, neither big nor small. It's a bit smaller than a regular spaghetti scoop, but it's fine for pasta, and it fits in my little drawer, which is exactly what I want. I haven't tried it with spiral pasta or any other pasta, but I have other utensils that work for these.
