I bought these after a trip to IKEA and their black flatware was sold out. Shipping was fast!! These are NOT matte black. The color is actually more elegant and style more modern while at the same price point. I haven't used or washed yet but the quality is very impressive!!

I prefer a traditional metal whisk to all these new plastic handled or silicone coated ones. This set is a good bang-for-buck. Does a decent enough job with omelettes, creams and soups. Comes thru the dishwasher just fine.

I did find that there was a lot of yellow but not as bad as some of the other reviews I read. They set appears well made and sturdy. It was a nice hefty set rather than being too light weight. There was a lot of color but spread out between all the different parts.
Nice set of black silverware. They are shiny and black stainless steel, the photo makes them look matte but they are not. They are smooth and a nice size and weight.
Dinner forks ad spoons are way too large. So I used dessert forks and spoons for dinner and dessert. They seem very sturdy and looks elegant but I wish there was way to buy dessert size onlyThanks
