Shiny copper cutlery with a decent heft. The cutlery is attractive looking if you like Rose gold or copper (but let's face it you wouldn't be considering getting this set if you didn't).They arrived in a cheap looking banged-up box (I didn't mind this because I'm not going to see it after unboxing), and as other reviewers have stated, individually wrapped in plastic--for reasons that would soon become known.Initially I thought this was a waste of packing material, but upon unwrapping some of the items, there were a couple which were scratched up so that the copper colour coating was gone and the silver beneath was quite exposed. I can imagine that slightly rough handling (eg hand washing a bunch of them together) may cause further scratches down the road. The individual plastic wrappers are probably to prevent the cutlery damaging each other in transit.Another minor quibble is that I felt the curve of the fork prongs was too scooped, and the sizing of each item seems to be random. The soup spoons are about 1cm shorter than the fork which is another 2 or 3cm shorter than the knife. Thankfully the teaspoon and the dessert fork seem to be of relatively equal length.Again, if you want pretty copper cutlery that won't break the bank (by too much that is) this fits the bill. I'm not sure how long it'll last, or if I just got a dinged set, but it ought to be OK for occasional light use or special occasions/photos hoots.
Dieses goldfabene Besteck hat ein schlichtes Design. Es wirkt aber recht edel. Die goldene Farbe wirkt nicht gelbstichig sondern sieht einfach gut aus. Vorallem die Verarbeitung hat mir gut gefallen. Wobei nach meinem Geschmack die Esslöffel etwas größere Essfläche haben könnten. Ich hatte noch ein anderes Besteck einer anderen Firma zum Vergleich bestellt. Das andere war qualitativ nicht so gut. 2 Messer waren dort etwas verbogen und die Griffe waren teilweise scharfkantig.Nur richtig schade finde ich, dass man keinen Besteckkasten zu diesem Berglander Besteck dazu geliefert bekommt oder einen passenden Kasten zur Aufbewarung dazu kaufen kann.
This was purchased for a Christmas gift . So I can't really do a review. I do know that it arrived quicker then expected. I'm sure my grandma will love this.
I got these as a shower gift for a friend and she loved them. Great starter kit of kitchen utensils. They seem relatively durable and a good value for the price
Beautiful gold finish. Just the colour I was after. Fab set serving for 6 for when I entertain and so far have used once and put in dishwasher, all still looks fine!
