Purchased two sets for my new apartment and have had them a week. They are the perfect weight and did not arrive damaged. I hand wash them only with fragrance free seventh generation soap. If you put them in the dishwasher or use acidic soaps (with organge or lemon scents) the gold will wear. However, this is for ANY set of copper/gold plated silverware even if it comes from Crate and Barrel which is quadruple the cost. Perfect value and looking forward to continued use at my new home

Keep on in your purse, car, backpack etc. These are durable and I love how they come in various sizes. Love the straw cleaner brush it comes with too. This is a very environmentally conscious purchase that everyone can use!
This flatware set is alright. They are a little hard to keep clean, and they do seem to scratch easily. They look stylish, if they're not too badly scratched and they are cleaned properly. (otherwise they have marks all over them)
