Because the water will flow through and not form a pool. It's good quality and good price. Product arrived quickly and in good condition. I am very satisfied with this product.
I think buying 20 at this price would be flimsy and not looking good at all. But I was wrong - it's well made, easy to hold in the hand, and the knife has a serrated edge, perfect for meat.
I like that the “s” hooks are bent into a tighter shape at the side where they connect to the bar, so they don’t slip or move side to side. The screws are a little short, so you may be more comfortable if you provide your own longer screws. However, I used the short screws with the provided anchors and it has been very sturdy.
I recently moved and I made a pot of soup and not having a soup ladle, I ordered this one. I didn’t want a plastic one like they had in most stores. I decided I wanted something more sturdy that would last. I like this one (being metal). Long lasting that is the right size for one person and is the right angle to serve soup.
I purchased these for my Uncle who is in assisted living. They are perfect for his needs in eating cereal, peaches, puddings, etc. The value was amazing and I will definitely be purchasing again when he needs more.
