Corkscrew has been used to open many bottles of wine, but I can say it will last. Once started, it worked fine including removing the cork from the unit. Definitely recommend it.
I've had them for about two weeks and have used and cleaned them several times, no visible scratches or scuffs! I haven't put them in the dishwasher yet, but will update once I do.
I recommend this. I am happy with my purchase. I have small hands and my current silverware set is too large. This one is just the right size. I also wanted a rounder spoon shape, as opposed to oval and this has that. The pieces are proportional to one another. I've only had it two days, so can't comment on washing and durability, but I don't anticipate problems.
