Better than the granite one I had recently which chipped at the edges and could have ended up in my dog’s food dish. Stainless steel construction eliminates that problem.
Well made, durable, sharp edge that stays sharp. Single bevel, which is essential for grafting.
The shape of the blade, rectangular with a beveled edge on the blunt side, works great for both grafting and removing loose bark, a handy tool when looking for codling moths.
There are less expensive knives, but the quality of this one makes it a great value for the money.
No problems with this grater. Will work well for grating cheese over omelletes which is what we primarily use it for. Not too big, not too small. Over a medium or large pot or pan it will get the job done. Product photo is accurate.Grip is a good size and I have large hands and it is comfortable to hold.
No drips when you pour but watch out!! The wine pours out in a long arc, which is an unexpected surprise, not like what you are normally used to when decanting directly from a wine bottle. It's very easy to overshoot your glass and have the wine end up all over your table cloth, somewhat of a worse outcome than a drip or two.
If you can get used to the catapult of wine, it's a neat and handsome product, impressive looking.
One of those items that I just kept putting off because I didn’t think it was a necessity. Now, it’s always being used. Not just for wine, OJ too. Keeps drinks cool a long time
