The skimmer I received does appear to be the genuine product from the description. For the price it’s really a very nice utensil. I purchased it to replace an old bamboo handled wire basket skimmer that wasn’t very hygienic and very difficult to clean. This skimmer is stainless steel and has no pesky crevices to scrub out. I used it within an hour of receiving it and found it was excellent for scooping delicate tortellini out of the pot. I do wish the bend was a little more bent... it would help when using a smaller but deep pot, but overall I was quite pleased.
