I got the gold handles and they are bright and decorative. I do see one tiny flaw in the paint when I hold it up to the light. Since it is in the same place on both pieces, I guess it is a result of the manufacturing process.
They have some weight to them and are sleek, stylish, modern and smooth. No pits or marks on them at all which is good, as some expensive ones often have imperfections on them and these don't. They do actually look expensive.
