It is made of very solid grade stainless steel but it has a sleek design. Its shape is perfect for cradling soup spoons and even larger ladles without allowing liquid to drip off.
So far I have only used the smaller one, but I am really impressed! It definitely has a better and more comfortable grip than my old one did, which is important when you have several potatoes to peel. Also the blades are very sharp, making it faster to use.
